Join MPTA for a virtual round table discussion on vehicle maintenance challenges via Zoom on Wednesday, December 7 at 12:00 pm as part of MPTA’s Education Series.  Pre-registration is required to attend and can be completed HERE.

Vehicle maintenance issues are one of the many challenges facing transit providers across Missouri.  From worker shortages to supply chain disruptions, transit agencies are forced to keep vehicles in service longer with fewer staff to maintain them.  Evolving technologies, continuous training, and funding needs present additional elements to keeping fleets in good shape.

Speakers from KCATA, Metro Transit, and OATS will provide introductory remarks, followed by a peer round table discussion exploring how transit providers in Missouri are dealing with these unique challenges and what the future holds for transit fleets across the state.  A recording will be shared following the event.  Questions can be submitted ahead of time to twood@mopublictransit.org.
