Transit Helping get the Vote out in Missouri

 

Election Day – November 5, 2024 – is quickly approaching. As individuals across Missouri and the country make plans to vote, some are also making plans for how they will get to and from the polls. Many transit agencies in Missouri and surrounding states are offering free rides to the polls. Additionally, some transit centers are even being utilized as polling locations. See the list below of which Missouri transit providers are offering free rides on election day. If you are unsure whether or not your provider is offering free rides, we encourage you to reach out to their customer service line to see if they are.

 

City Utilities Transit – Springfield, MO

Offering free rides. Additionally, the Transit Center at 211 N Main Ave will serve as a general polling location.

Direct Transit – Ray County, MO

Offering free rides.

Go COMO – Columbia, MO

Offering free rides.

Go St. Joe – St. Joseph, MO & Elwood, KS

Offering free rides.

Kansas City Area Transportation Authority – Kansas City Region
