MISSOURI PUBLIC TRANSIT ASSOCIATION ELECTS TWO NEW BOARD MEMBERS

The Missouri Public Transit Association (MPTA) – the state’s transit advocacy organization – has named Stephanie Rademan, the CEO of SERVE, Inc. in Fulton, and Tracy Jones, the Director of Finance of Southeast Missouri Transportation Service (SMTS), as the newest members of its Board of Directors. The two were elected during MPTA’s board meeting on May 16. Each will each serve a two-year term.

At the helm of SERVE, Inc., Rademan leads a team that runs the organization’s Callaway County-wide food pantry, resale store and door-to-door public transportation provider, known as SERVE Tran. Prior to this role, she served in leadership positions with F.A.C.T., Heart of Missouri Girls on the Run, United Healthcare and Aetna.

Jones has served in her current capacity with SMTS – which serves 21 counties in Southeast Missouri and is the nation’s second largest rural transit provider – for the past seve years.  She will assume the position of Executive Director in July 2024.  In this new leadership position, she will maintain SMTS’s reputation of excellence in providing safe, clean and reliable transportation for all citizens.

“We are very excited for Stephanie and Tracy join our Board of Directors,” said Kimberly Cella, executive director of the Missouri Public Transit Association. “They each bring diverse expertise and insights that will be invaluable for supporting the association’s efforts to promote transit access and services to communities across the state.”
