Jackson County considers commuter transit options for I-70 and Rock Island corridors

Three Open house events sept. 27–29

The Jackson County Commuter Corridors Alternatives Analysis study team will host the project's first open house from 4–7 p.m. on Sept. 27 at the Independence Regional Ennovation Center (201 N. Forest Ave., Independence, Mo.).

The meeting will discuss future transit options being evaluated to address transportation needs along the I-70 and Rock Island corridors from downtown Kansas City, Mo., to many growing suburban communities throughout Jackson County, Mo. Brief, identical presentations will be given at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Come share your input on transportation needs, routes and technology options for each of the corridors.
