Closing the first and last-mile gap for transit providers continues to be a challenge for many communities. For many reasons — organizational lines, budgets, and politics — transit providers have traditionally focused on running single-mode public transportation services. But now, transit agencies are being challenged to think outside the box to become multimodal mobility managers. This panel looks at several different services and solutions underway in Kansas City and East St. Louis to fill that gap.
