The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) and the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) will host a webinar focused on regional transit on August 20, 2025, at 11 a.m. Tyler Means, Chief Strategy Officer at KCATA and Ron Achelpohl, Director of Transportation and Environment at MARC will present on a variety of topics, followed by a Q&A portion at the end of the call. The webinar will examine the benefits of regional transit, the role of KCATA, which provides transit service in Missouri and Kansas, in expanding regional services, and an update on the status of SmartMoves, the Kansas City’s regional transit and mobility plan being crafted by MARC.
