KCATA Operational Innovations and Performance Manager Makes Mass Transit Magazines 40 Under 40 List

Congratulations to Kansas City Area Transportation Authority’s Shofi Ull Azum Shofi, MBA, Operational Innovations, and Performance Manager for making Mass Transit Magazines 40 Under 40 List.  Shofi began his career at KCATA as an intern leading to a hired position to work on KCATA’s biggest and most substantial Capital Investment Grant project in the authority’s history. With an interest in innovation and technology, Shofi has delivered technical specifications and managed app deployment along the Prospect MAX BRT route for RideKC Navigator. Shofi was also part of the successful Accelerating Innovative Mobility grant awarded by FTA to pilot an advanced driver assistance system that will allow BRT operators to maintain ADA-compliant gaps at all stops.
