OATS Transit recently announced extended service in Blue Springs beginning October 1, 2019. Transportation service has expanded to include another day of service made possible by funding from the City of Blue Springs.
- Scheduled service will go from 2 days to 3 days each week- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10:00am-2:00pm. The transportation service is available for Blue Springs seniors 60+ or 18-59 with a disability anywhere in the city limits. The fare is $3 each stop.
- Daily service is also available free of charge to the Blue Springs Vesper Hall Senior Center Monday through Friday with set pick up and drop off times.
“It is always great when city officials recognize the value of having public transportation available for their residents and are willing to step up and help support our efforts,” said OATS Executive Director Dorothy Yeager.
