The Senate FY20 Transportation Housing Appropriations bill was marked up in subcommittee yesterday. The Senate bill includes an additional $470 million for bus funding on top of FAST Act authorized levels according to The Bus Coalition.
The 5339 Program saw an increase of $390 million, Low/No Program an increase of $40 million and the 5311 Program increased by $40 million. The House increased bus programs by $485 million.
