Kansas City Area Transportation Authority’s commitment to Transit-Oriented Community Development (TOCD), defined by the agency as people-first urban planning, has celebrated multiple wins for transit in 2026. KCATA believes that TOCD enables communities to be more safe, affordable, vibrant, accessible, and livable for all residents.
