SERVE, Inc. Announces Marilyn Bartley as New Executive Director

SERVE, Inc., a cornerstone nonprofit organization serving Callaway County, is proud to announce the appointment of Marilyn Bartley as its new Executive Director. Bartley brings nearly a decade of dedicated service to SERVE and a deep commitment to the organization’s mission of meeting the diverse needs of the community.

“I am honored to step into this role and help SERVE grow and thrive for years to come,” said Bartley. “This opportunity allows me to continue serving a company that means so much to me, while also growing professionally.”

Bartley began her journey with SERVE nine years ago in the Client Services Transportation Department. Her passion and leadership quickly elevated her to Client Services Lead, and later to Business Manager. Her experience across departments has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of SERVE’s operations and the challenges facing the community.

“To me, this role is about leading with both my head and my heart,” Bartley added. “I will never lose sight of our mission to organize, facilitate, promote, and provide services to meet the needs of the citizens of Callaway County.”

Bartley steps into leadership during a critical time for SERVE. The organization is actively engaged in a Capital Campaign to complete Phase 2 renovations of its new facility at 400 Gaylord Drive, which will allow all services to be housed under one roof. Additionally, the Food Pantry is experiencing unprecedented demand, with supplies critically low and more families seeking assistance than ever before. “Food insecurity is one of the greatest needs we face right now,” Bartley emphasized. “We are calling on our community to support the pantry and help us continue to serve those who rely on us.”

Board Vice President Collin Clement expressed confidence in Bartley’s leadership: “Marilyn’s dedication and experience make her the ideal person to guide SERVE into its next chapter. Her heart for service and deep understanding of our mission will ensure we continue making a meaningful impact.”
