With the resignation of Missouri Department of Transporation Director Patrick McKenna effective September 20, the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission has announced the naming of Deputy Director Ed Hassinger to assume the role of Director while a national search is conducted. Patrick McKenna had served in the role for 8 and half years before his resignation.
According to the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission effective end of day August 23, Hassinger will assume the roles of director during this transition and through the search process. Hassinger has worked for MoDOT for more than 40 years including Deputy Director and Chief Engineer for the last 11 years.
