Lincoln County, MO will be seeing a new OATS Transit vehicle on their roads in the future. Cuivre River Electric Community Trust Operation Round Up program has awarded $4000 to OATS Transit to be put towards the local match on a new vehicle.
Speaking to Mass Transit, Dorothy Yeager, OATS Transit Executive Director reported, “We are grateful that organizations like the Cuivre River and their Operation Round Up program are dedicated to giving back to the communities. Without the support from Cuivre River, these purchases would not be possible.”
OATS Transit service is important to many people living in Lincoln County as they consider commuting to work, medical appointments, running errands, and visiting family and friends. Grants like this help ensure OATS Transit has the equipment they need to continue delivering service in Lincoln County.
