FTA Region VII Administrator Mokhtee Ahmad retired on December 30th after a distinguished career in government that spanned 25 years at the Federal Transit Administration. The FTA has announced Mark Bechtel will be the Acting Regional Administrator.
Mark has been a member of the FTA Region VII office since 1999, serving in various positions from Community Planner to Director of Planning and Program Development, and most recently as the Deputy Regional Administrator.
