MPTA Requests “MO Faces of Transit” From Board Members

In order to tell the story of transit in Missouri, we are asking providers, board members and stakeholders to help identify the “faces” of riders in the state.  Below is a list of requested items.

 

  1. Photos of your system i.e. vehicles with people in service, riders, operators, events demonstrating your service reach
  2. Name and contact info of a rider(s) and/or operator(s) on your system who would be willing to be interviewed
  3. Photos of above referenced rider(s) and/or operator(s)
  4. Some questions for riders:
    1. Would you be willing to talk about your transit use?
    2. How long have you been using transit?
    3. What do you use transit for i.e. work, doctor, education?
    4. Why do you use transit?
    5. What works with regards to your transit trip?
    6. What is most significant challenge to using transit?
    7. How do you pay for transit trip?
    8. If you had a choice, would you use transit more or less?
    9. Personal transit story
  5. Some questions for operators:
    1. Would you be willing to talk about your career in transit?
    2. How long have you been a transit operator?
    3. What do you love about being an operator?
    4. What is most significant challenge?
    5. If you had a choice, would you use transit?
    6. What would you say to someone considering a career in transit?
