The KC Streetcar Riverfront Extension planning is underway. RideKC and partners are hosting a public open house meeting Thursday, December 8th at Port KC Headquarters to discuss the KC Streetcar Riverfront extension and Grand Boulevard Bike/Pedestrian Bridge projects. This bike/ped project will add pathways to the outside of the already existing bridge. The improvements of the bridge will provide a safe connection between the River Market residents/business district and the Berkley Riverfront. Kansas City residents are encouraged to join the Public Meeting to hear further details about the project and construction plans that are set to start in 2023. The KC Streetcar Riverfront Extension is set to be open to the public in 2025.
