Oats Transit has received a $100,000 grant from the Sunderland Foundation to build a new transportation hub in the Kansas City area. In early 2022, OATS Transit purchased the property for a new operations facility in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, just off Interstate 470. Construction for this is expected in 2023 with a planned finish in 2025. The facility will oversee specialized transportation for medical appointments, work, and more.
