MISSOURI PUBLIC TRANSIT ASSOCIATION ELECTS THOMAS TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 

The Missouri Public Transit Association (MPTA) has elected Ed Thomas to its Board of Directors. He will serve a two-year term.

Thomas has served as Executive Director of Camden County Development Disability Resources (CCDDR) for the past 10 years. He has spent his career advocating for people with disabilities and is a member of several local and statewide committees, workgroups and task forces that support these efforts. He currently is a co-chair for the Missouri Transportation Task Force and sits on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Association of County Developmental Disabilities (MACDDS), where he held the president position in 2017. Thomas  also previously served on the Board of Directors for Missouri Association of People Supporting Employment First (MO APSE), Local Area Needs Initiative (LANI), the Lake of the Ozarks Transportation Council (LOTC) and the Arc of Missouri, where he was president from 2014 to 2018.
