FTA continues to host webinars to provide technical assistance to transit agencies on the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) regulation. The Agency Safety Plan Review, Approval, and Certification webinar will provide examples of how States and transit agencies could meet the requirements of the PTASP regulation (49 CFR Part 673) for Agency Safety Plan review, update, and approval. This webinar will also discuss the Agency Safety Plan certification process and requirements. This webinar was originally presented on February 26, 2020.

FTA’s PTASP Technical Assistance Center offers voluntary Agency Safety Plan (ASP) reviews for interested States and transit agencies. This webinar will provide States and transit agencies with considerations for meeting the Safety Assurance requirements of the PTASP regulation based on lessons learned during voluntary ASP reviews.
