City Utilities (CU) of Springfield has a special week planned for its riders next week as a part of Communities in Motion Week.  CU will recognize its transit riders next week, June 12-16, with daily events and activities.

“Communities in Motion Week is dedicated to connecting our community to the ways they can get around Springfield on The Bus,” said Kelly Turner, Director of Transit for CU.

Here’s this year’s lineup of events:

• Monday 6/12     Customer Appreciation Day – donuts & coffee at Transit Center for customers
• Tuesday 6/13     Bus Operator Appreciation Day – cook-out for Bus Operators at Transit Center
• Thursday 6/15    National Dump the Pump Day – Free Rides All Day
• Friday 6/16          104.7 The Cave Radio Promo & On-Bus Giveaway
