March 27- 30  Stakeholder Meetings
JEFFTRAN SystemWide Assessment

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) has engaged the Lochmueller Group to provide a systemwide assessment of the JEFFTRAN transit system (including HandiWheels).  The study will evaluate existing JEFFTRAN routes, identify unmet transit needs, and propose service modifications to address those needs. The
study will recommend modifications to existing routes and schedules to  better serve existing and potential new transit users.

When?
As part of this study, there will be several stakeholder meetings and a public meeting between Monday, March 27th and Wednesday, March 29th. All meetings will be held at City Hall. The stakeholder meetings will be structured discussions led by Lochmueller Group staff.

Educational Institutions
Monday, March 27, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students at local high schools and postsecondary institutions represent a key market for transit service.
Healthcare and Social Service Organizations
Tuesday, March 28, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Many individuals served by these organizations depend upon public transportation, and would benefit from improved transit service.

Public Meeting
Tuesday, March 28, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This meeting is scheduled to provide a forum for the general public to provide input and ask questions.
Employers and Business Organizations
Wednesday, March 29, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Work trips generally are the single largest transit market. Transportation is a key concern for many employers and employees, especially in retail and service businesses.
General Meeting
Wednesday, March 29, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This meeting is scheduled for those unable to attend the meeting designated for their specific type of organization. It also is for input from those with multiple interest areas.
If the time shown for your area of interest isn’t a convenient time, we ask that you consider attending one of the other meetings.  It will assist us in our meeting planning if you can tell us whether you plan to attend a specific meeting.
