TODAY: Missouri State Rail Plan Open House
Today Missouri Department of Transportation will be hosting an open house and discussion about the movement of goods and people by freight and passenger rail. The workshop will held 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Kirkwood Amtrak Station (110 Argonne, Kirkwood, MO 63122).
MODOT is developing a Statewide Rail Plan that will provide the strategic framework for the development of both freight and passenger rail service in Missouri for decades to come.
If you cannot attend the public open house, meeting materials and the presentation will also be available online at www.morail.org. The virtual meeting will be accessible from October 18 through November 4. Please help us spread the word.
