On June 16 at 2 p.m. EDT, the U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA) and NCST will present the webinar Aging, Diversity and Mobility. This webinar will provide valuable information on a resource produced by the U.S. AoA last year, A Toolkit for Serving Diverse Communities (PDF). The toolkit is designed to assist aging-network providers and their community partners—including transit and other transportation providers—in building capacity to serve an expanding and increasingly diverse population of seniors and their caregivers. Information about the NCST-funded Breaking New Ground projects, designed to address the transportation needs of specific diverse populations in four communities, will also be discussed.
