OATS, Inc. Celebrates Northwest Region Dispatcher of 20 Years

(St. Joseph, Missouri, May 3, 2011)

Tanya Moore began working at OATS almost 20 years ago, first as a driver and then for approximately the past eight years, as a dispatcher and scheduler in the St. Joseph office. Having been with the company for so long, Tanya feels that OATS is one big family to her.

When asked what qualities someone must posses to work at OATS, Tanya said that it is important to get along with everyone and to truly have a passion for people. Known as the "Cookie Baker of the NW Region," Tanya personally demonstrates her appreciation for her coworkers every Monday when she brings in cookies that she made over the weekend.

Northwest Regional Director, Beth Langley, says, "Tanya’s commitment to OATS and the community throughout the years is inspiring. She is enthusiastic about her job and brings a positive attitude to the office everyday."

When not working for OATS or baking cookies for her fellow employees to enjoy, Tanya relishes time spent with her family. She and her husband especially take pleasure in camping, either just the two of them, or sometimes with their four grandchildren in tow.

“I never dreamed I would be here for this long, but it is a pleasure working for OATS.” says Tanya. “I still enjoy getting up and going to work every morning. Knowing that I am able to help so many people by giving them rides to where they need to go is extremely satisfying,”
