The Motor Bus Society spring convention is April 24 and 25 in Kansas City at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located at 13th & Wyandotte. Registration and sign-in in the hotel lobby start at 7:30 a.m. on each day. Buses will depart promptly at 8 a.m. daily for garage and facility tours, and are expected to return to the hotel by 6 p.m. A membership meeting will commence at 8 p.m. Saturday evening; it is usually preceded by a flea market at 7 p.m. in the meeting room. Times may fluctuate, depending upon arrival of the Saturday garage tour.
Garage and Facility Tours: The tentative itinerary includes the following locations, which are subject to final approval:
Friday: The Friday tour will cover operations in Kansas, including Lawrence, Topeka and Johnson County.
Saturday: The Saturday tour will be concentrated in Kansas City, including KCATA and local charter operators.
Sunday: No activities are scheduled.
