The President-Elect Uses the Past as a Look Toward the Future

An article in The Huffington Post talks about how President-elect Obama and Vice-President-elect Biden will use the rails to ride to their inauguration next month.  They will ride from Philadelphia to Wilmington (Del.), to Baltimore and on to DC, on rail lines that have been established for over a century.  The ideas in the article are written for the East Coast, and the need to improve and expand public transit, but also apply to the rest of the country, including Missouri.  The full article can be found here.
