MPTA launches Educational Series

Educational SeriesThe Missouri Public Transit Association has announced the launch of the MPTA Educational Series, a quarterly educational event for MPTA members and transit stakeholders in MO interested in staying up to date on the latest in the industry.

In 2016, the Missouri Public Transit Association  Board of Directors expanded its mission to include the following goals:

*Elevate the status of transit in Missouri.

* Build new coalitions to expand the transit advocacy base.

* Promote and support MPTA members.

“Offering educational opportunities for our members adds value to the MPTA as an association while at the same time helping to elevate the status of transit in MO. We are excited about the new Educational Series and see it as an opportunity to also showcase some of our members as we travel the state to host these events,” said Kimberly Cella, MPTA Director.

The first Seminar is set for Tuesday, November 1 in Columbia, MO: Making the Case for Social Media, at City Hall from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  RSVP for the Educational Series is required.
